The 2009 ATCO Super Series Finals, staged at The Queen’s Club in London, England from the 14th to 17th March brought together the top eight qualifiers from the annual PSA Super Series World Tour. World No.1 Karim Darwish of Egypt headed a star-studded field including compatriots Ramy Ashour, Amr Shabana and Wael El Hindi, Gregory Gaultier and Thierry Lincou from France, David Palmer of Australia and England’s James Willstrop.
By its conclusion, Gregory Gaultier become the first player for eight years to retain the prestigious crown with an impressive 11-6 8-11 11-5 11-5 victory over his compatriot Thierry Lincou.
